Lady
b did his first step in the techno scene as plublic relation
for Andy Parker prod., promoter of the first acid house and
techno parties in south of france, between 1989 and 1993.
during this year he was resident dj in the gay club of Cannes
and opened "Barbarella restaurant", a concept of
bar-restaurant enterely dedicated to techno and house music.
In 1995, his first ep was released on F communications : "vice-versa".
Then in 1996, on the same label, "it's not enough"
under the name of Madame b was released, and it's now a classic
of the french house music history; So followed some remixes
(Norma Jean Bell, Didier Sinclair...). He turned, in 1997,
into another type of work. As assistant of midem organisation
artistic manager Bernard Batzen, they created "palm beach
beats 1 and 2", the first official techno parties of
midem, on 3 floors with more than 4000 house music lovers
a thursday night. In 1998, he released himself "mouvement",
a series of 3 eps based on the reflexion of a sculptor Christian
Boltanski "it's more important to look at the mouvement
of the thought of an artist, than to look at the work of art
on the surface". Then he decided to move to spain. During
summer 1998 he was resident at "florida 135" in
Fraga on sundays, and he opened at the beginning of 1999 the
spanish version of Barbarella restaurant in Barcelona. End
of 2000, he moved back to south of France. He was called by
2 friends for the opening of "Le Klub" in Nice,
which is the first club in south of France where is played
only underground dance music and opens 5 days a week. He is
artist booker and co resident of this club. Still active in
production, Citizen records released "capitalofzeworld"
feat. Samantha Nice in 2002, and the track "mio micco"
is on the cd 2 of the compilation volume 6 of the label International
dj Gigolo."crusing around motor city" is his new
production and is now available on Good Life. He is now associated
with the french journalist Patrick Thévenin and they
are launching their label called Musique.moderne (musique.moderne@free.fr).
The first released of this label is in march, and it's a Lady
